I bought A copy of Microsoft Office making it a $10 tablet that runs a full version of Windows 8.1
    5 Stars
I bought A copy of Microsoft Office making it a $10 tablet that runs a full version of Windows 8.1
Pros:- 1 Full copy of Office for tablets/phones (iPad, Android, Windows Phone)In addition to- 1 Full copy of Office for 1 PC or Mac- Plus you get 1TB of online storage.- You can install Office on one other device either a desktop. Notebook, or Windows 8.1 Pro Tablet using the same subscription included with this device. In fact I have done so in my case I wanted to install it on my Razer Edge and all I had to do was log into my Microsoft account go to my subscription and download office pretty much the same process of doing it on the tablet. I do have to point out though you have to download Office onto the tablet first to activate the subscription.- For the price its built quit well and performance is decent comparable to a netbook or pretty much any quad core Intel Atom processor based PCs- It's not a gaming machine but it will run pretty much any type of casual game as whale as some older PC games.- It runs the full version of Windows 8.1 and includes Office and despite its Atom Processer and lack of RAM it runs them both pretty good. - accepts up to 64GB at least that I've tested - It has a standard 32/64 bit processor so I have a 64GB SD card in it and dual boot linux. You could possible use it as a hackintosh machine but I'm not sure how fictional it would be without a mouse and keyboard.Cons:- If you're looking for an entertainment device well an android or apple tablet is more suited for you as there's more apps and what not more suited for tablets then the Windows Store- 1 gigabyte of RAM so you won't be doing a lot of multitasking or having a lot of browser tabs openMy thoughts:I wouldn't recommend this as a primary machine but as companion to a desktop/laptop for students it gives them a tablet that they can use for entertainment as whale as be productive on the go. And also gives them a copy of office they can install in their main desktop/laptop. I originally got a "HP Stream 7 5709" for my mom for her birthday which was the $99 one. So when I was about to buy a 1yr Subscription to Office 360 I found out that there was another version the "HP Stream 7 5701" which is $79. The only difference between the 2 is the $79 version comes with 3 pre-installed HP apps which you can remove but they're not that intrusive. Where as the $99 version comes with a clean install of Windows So for $10 more you get a tablet. To be honest I have a Razer Edge tablet which I do a lot of CAD and design and I find having a touchscreen useful and I basically bought this tablet just to get a 1yr Subscription to Microsoft Office 360 I didn't need nor want a Widows tablet but for $10 more why not. But that being said it run the full Windows OS. Which means I can install my CAD software and while I might not be able to edit and draw in it at least not productively it’s a lot smaller and lighter than my Razer Edge which makes it useful for when I just need to show off some designs or even remote into any of my other machines. I'm also finding that I can simply lay it around the house for guest to use.
